There is an actual hookah bar in San Antonio, right beside Jerusalem Grill. We ate at Jerusalem Grill last night - great shawarmas and gyros, and their falafel is pretty good too. Haven't set foot in the hookah bar, but I see it every time we eat there.

My dad was based in Isreal for 6 years, working in the Sinia desert oil fields.. The family went over for three months in 1974,there were hubbly-bubbly bars everywhere.

We found a place in Tel Aviv that made hand blown glass,bought two of them and brought them home..
Unfortunately,they were lost in the divorce of parents. Wish I still had them now.
