Do some people HATE ranchers and cowboys?

I often just wear my work, straw cowboy hats into towns when going to stores and such. Seems like there is hatred from some folks against us ranchers just because of the hats. We raise the beef that some of these people put on their tables and they may not even realize it. I still open the doors for people regardless of what they look like.

I'm proud of the work we do on the ranches. We farm as well. It ain't for everyone of course. Lots of hard work and expense goes into everything. It's not just a line of work, it's a lifestyle. It's what I am.
