I had a little accident yesterday afternoon and I have a couple friends on TBH, ( I use the term friends loosely) that seem to have appropriately renamed me.

I think Iíll keep the name.

Who needs enemies, when you have friends like I do???

Accidental or intentional Mayhem? Nice name.

Do you say screw "hold my beer"? Is ..."Watch what I can do while holding my beer"...more appropriate?

Long story short, I was putting Christmas lights on the house and as I went to get on the roof my extension ladder gave way and I feel 12 foot and landed on the ladder and concrete.

My lovely wife took me to the hospital and I ended up breaking ribs 9 and 10.

Iíll be layed up for a few days.

So someone just changed your screen name to a newly assigned nickname? Can they do that?

You've just given an idea to all the guys on the Christmas Lights thread. You now have an excuse to never put up Christmas Lights ever again, and I bet a few TBH'ers are about to start falling off ladders, so they font have to either lmao

I’ve had broken ribs twice and it’s the worst! Relax, take it easy and let them heal. The worst is sneezing! Relaxing over the next 2 weeks is key.

Rest up and positive thoughts for a speedy recovery.

You do realize a professional Christmas light installer would have been cheaper, easier and a whole lot less painful.

Suck it up Buttercup!

Actually, I have broken ribs 3 times: waterskiing, playing softball, and don't remember what the 3rd time was, but...it is the worst pain because you cannot do much without flexing your ribcage. It hurts to sit down; it hurts to get up; it hurts to get into bed; it hurts to roll over in bed; it hurts to get out of bed; it hurts to sit on the pot, etc., etc., etc.

I feel ya!

Hope ya get over the pain quick Justin.

I've had ribs broke a few times. Last was while on my bike in 2000, 3 fractures on two ribs right side. Never stopped riding afterward either. Took about 6 months to get over the back and sternum pain.

Just remember every time you feel pain, it's a blessing. It's a reminder that we are still alive.
