    Traditional FSC week 36

Time to renew our hunting licenses. Draw or print a copy. Total it is about ten and three quarter inches by three and three quarter inches. Tags are about two inches by seven eighths inches each by how mine printed. Just a sample off the net.
Shoot as many first shot of the days as you would like. Up to seven of course. Punch as many tags as you can. Of course whitetail deer and Rio Grande turkey tags are most used but the other hunting tags are valid as well. Hits crossing two tags you must pick one of the two to count. Each tag punched has to be cut [emoji3574] out as required by TPWD. So each tag is only used once. Most tags punched at weeks end gets the call. 12 yards any position.
    Good shooting and good hunting.

Won't get seven. Right in line, going for a Turkey tag, but low, shot sitting.

At our place in the fall if you don't tag a turkey early they move down to the river bottom off our place by late October.

I have yet to draw my tags up. Dove opener here. Shotguns blasting all around but I decided to stalk some whitewings with my longbow that hole up in my trees during the day. I got two shots off and no kills. 300 gn heads drop fast when shooting up. Most shots were obstructed to a 4-6” openings. Windage was good...elevations failed. Ill get my tags drawn up later.

                        Cool call Gary.

Show a pic of the heads you're shooting at birds, please. That sounds very interesting. And are you using flu flu fletchings to limit over-flight?
