Went and got in the blind this morning to see if I could get some freezer meat. The place I get to hunt we got 20-24 MLD doe tags this year. After we split them up I ended up with 6 tags. Feeder went off at 7:00am. About 7:45-8am had a doe came in to get some corn. Waited til she got broadside and sent the swacker to her. She was at 20yds and only went 30yds. She was still within eyesight and less then 10ft off the road. Knew she would be alright right there. Heard something fly by and it was a buzzard. Got out of the blind and ran it off of my doe. Dang thing had already grabbed her eye, but nothing else got touched. First time I have ever had a buzzard hit them that fast.
