Coleman County Report
I hunted Thursday evening until Saturday morning. The buck I am after did not make an appearance.
The evening hunts have been really slow which I am attributing to the warm weather. Deer are coming in after shooting light and will return for morning feeding. The turkey have been moving from 530 up till 630 but did not show an interest in the corn.
Saturday morning none of my deer show up. About 745 I hear some blowing coming from behind me. 10 min later out comes a spike and he is in a bit of a hurry. A young 2.5 yr old 6pt is trying to chase him out of the area. 15 min later I hear some rattling. This young 6 pt found a sparring mate. Another young smaller 6pt. They were at for a few minutes and I was able to grab some of the action with my phone
Watching this guy strutting around and stomping was pretty cool. I cant wait to see what happens in a few weeks
