    Gas welder help

I have a Lincoln ranger 8 that has low hours about 300, it was working fine but I let it sit without using it for a couple of years, I got the carb rebuilt and it runs fine but the power is not getting to the stinger. I plugged in a work light and the bulb goes from bright to dim and back , engines revs like it should when a load is put on it like striking an arc or plugging in a light bulb but the power isn’t

I assume you have your ground hooked up. Have you tried to adjust your fine adjustment? Sometimes you'll get a bad spot on your rheostat. It's possible that it could have developed a corrosive spot (dirty) where it sat without being used, due to moisture. Try turning your fine adjustment knob back and forth in order to "clean" the contacts.

Sounds like a circuit board problem. May check for dirt daubers nests on it.
