Everything is still pretty green on our place. Pulled our first round of pictures this weekend, lots of young bucks and some nice deer I'm having some trouble putting an age on. Once we get cameras on corn feeders we should get better pictures.

The latest wildfire broke out at the Rocking Chair Ranch earlier this evening and Volunteer Fire Departments are now on scene to combat the fire. According to the Texas Forest Service it has impacted roughly 400 acres and is now 50% contained.

Below is a video of the Dove Creek VFD entering the scene of the wildfire this evening.

I can see it rained for about 45-50 min but can’t tell how much. The desert was so dry it just soaked it up. Better than nothing tho, might hold the dust down until about 10am.
