Went to check on new pig trap last week, bow hunted that evening. Son put his new Muzzy broad-heads to work. Took out this sow. First pig with his bow, well that we found. Lost 2 previous. He's happy

Well-total of 9 overnight--and the best part of it is that they were all females---eliminating piglet factories is good.

Finally broke in my 450 Busmaster. 80 yard shot on a runner through heavy brush. I saw one limb fall before the bullet hit the pig and another behind him. I think I'm going to like this little round

Had he been further I would have opted for a head shot. I figured a quick few rounds in him should do the trick and it did. No pass through but it put him down real quick.

Shoot them right behind ear, anywhere in 4/6” area on that ridge will leave them laying right there .22 or .300 win mag same result

2 small boars in the trap today--glad the cow man keeps his calf feeder filled with that sweet-smelling feed---draws 'em in to my trap.
