I have had one encounter in Coleman, Tx with a mountain lion and all I had was my bow. I walked 3/4 mile back to camp backwards probably in record time!

Where in Colorado? That's extremely cool!

He’s in the Pike National Forest. I believe it’s Unit 51, but will double check when he calls me back after he gets home tonight.

Crazy that week of hunting. All of the wildlife acted different. Cows and deer were extremely cautious and skiddish. I was on the second to last day of a 7 day trip. I went home that night. No way on Earth I was walking to the blind the next morning in the dark!

The cat was coming towards him so when it got to 17 yards he stopped the video and stood up with his muzzleloader to try to scare it off. Said it looked at him for a second but he hissed and it took off. He has a game cam up there and hasn’t had a photo of a cat til now. So he said he was spraying a cow urine cover scent every so often, guess it worked.
