Have you tried the Forty Creeks Copper barrel

Cooper Barrel is my go to.
Confederation Oak Reserve is my favorite. But it's sipping whiskey.
I have the entire line by John, had to slip a few in thru Niagra and Buffalo lol

The Maple is only good for one thing, frozen and poured over Blue Bell Vanilla ice cream.

Don’t know about the Mesquite but pretty much everything goes good with a Fuente. Gonna have to give this a shot.

I did not like it at first but like a peat scotch, it grew on me. Had a glass last night and really enjoyed it.

I love anything smoked and the heavier the better. And I really like crown royal. But in my opinion, Texas mesquite is a little too much, an acquired taste.
