Thursday or Friday

Alright guys I need some help. I can hunt east TX (SHNF) Thurs or Friday. Cold front is going to hit tonight. Thursday will be windy. Friday colder and I would think the wind would lay down.

I am thinking the hunting pressure would be lighter on Thursday but conditions would be better Fri.

I'd go Thursday before all of the "No Habla" folks show up w/ rifles and walk across the area your hunting carrying illegal feeders!

Go both days. I am going thursday to set up my climber for Saturdays hunt. I want to make some mock scrapes as i found an area with many rubs. good luck. Woody

I would go friday, thursday will be too windy. Don't be surprised if their are alot of other hunters though with the weather being the coldest yet there will be alot of guys thinking the same way you are.

I agree, but I think a windy day makes them spooky and less likely to stop and browse.
