I've done the compupu research now I'd like my fellow TBH'rs actual "hands on" experienced reviews of the Sig P365.

I'm trying to sell my P938 to get one. Fits my hand like a glove with the 12 round mag.

I haven’t gotten a chance to shoot one yet but really liked the way it felt in hand. Looking forward to shooting my buddies in the next few weeks. Just have to find some time to get out to the range.

Iíve had one on order from Brownells since 2/1. I keep watching my credit card charges in the hopes that it has been charged and therefore shipped. Nada

There were a couple vendors at the Saxet gun show in SA that actually had a couple. I think there is a show every first weekend of the month.

You might want to watch MAC torture test video. It's Looong but the bottom line is the P365 isn't ready for full time defensive carry.

Had one for a while now, and i absolutely love this pistol!!! I do suggest getting the extended mag for it. It is the most accurate and hand friendly pistol i own. Still cant explain how this LITTLE handgun does not have the muzzle flip like it should. A+ sig imo it is the best handgun in there carry models.

Did they ever get all of the problems with them fixed? Iíd like to have one but it will have to be flawless to replace my current carry pistols.

No issues with mine at all. Problem now is just finding one. Saw a dealer had three of them at $699. I understand supply and demand, but thats outrageous.

I picked one up after shooting my friends. Ours have fired every kind of ammo we've fed them, very little muzzle flip for such a small pistol, very accurate even at longer ranges, excellent trigger. Just a joy to shoot. I found mine on Texas Gun Trader and it came with a nice Vedder holster and 4 mags for $600 and hadn't been registered. Mine is also an earlier production, 3-8-18, and has almost 800 trouble free rounds thru it. There have been some that have had problems and Sig is correcting them. Supposedly any with the X-Ray sights are new model, but most people online say that from June on are the newest versions. As long as mine keeps shooting, I'm gonna shoot it. Good luck and carry on.

I picked one up at Academy last week, and I love it. I'll state this though, just like any other pistol, there is some break in for the shooter. I haven't mastered the trigger reset yet, and I did short-stroke a couple of rounds. The other issue is getting used to having that many rounds to work with in such a small package. I found my self stopping and expecting to have to reload at 6-7 rounds. I've been carrying a P938 and a Ruger LCPII for so long, that I'm just not used to having so much to work with. I just have 100 rounds through it, so I can't vouch for whether Sig has fixed the striker problem yet. I look forward to them bringing out the laser for it.

He just released a new one with a new 365 and had problems again. I know sample size of one, but he isn't the only one.

I want this gun to work out. I just can't get over Sigs recklessness and disregard for the consumer the past several years. Makes them hard to trust.

Edit: Also for all of you guys that have them, keep in mind it isn't reliability (feeding, ejecting etc.) issues that are being reported. It's breakages and mechanical failures after being shot quite a bit that seem to be the problem.

I think Art was referring to the P365ís extended round mag capacity and not his 938.

I agree with ya. There have been numerous reports of strikers breaking and springs coming off(dead trigger) reported. Most of these issues have been narrowed down to certain dates, per posts at sig talk. There are also many people reporting 1000's of rounds with no issues from each gen pistols. LSI has an after market striker that I will prob get when they're back in stock. I know it's another $100, but what is the price of peace of mind. I'm not getting rid of my Glock 42 until I have complete confidence in the P365. Time will tell. I know there's other pistols out there with better track records, but none offer the size and capacity that the P365 has, so, I don't mind spending a little time and money to make any corrections.

What were the issues? I have handled one and it felt good to me in hand. I love all my Sigs and have had zero issues with any of them. I know the 320 had some issues when new. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come from Sig.

Here's some pics. I'll shoot it this weekend and let you know how it goes.

It came with two 10-round mags, 1 flush and 1 with a pinky extension. I bought a 12-round mag as well. It's only 1/4" longer than the 10-round pinky extension mag.

Compared to a Kimber Micro .380, it's nearly the same size. Pretty amazing that a pistol this small can hold 12+1.

8-round mag in the Kimber and 12-round mag in the Sig. Almost identical grip length.

Sig is a little bit wider than the Kimber, but not much.

Sights on the Sig are pretty nice.

I've now put about 600 rounds of various ball and self defense ammo through mine, and the only issue I've had was one failure for the slide to lock back on an empty mag, and my son was shooting it and may have limp-wristed it a bit. It seems to be very accurate, and the recoil is very manageable even with +P stuff. I'm waiting for Sig to launch the green laser to complete the outfit. This is now my primary carry gun.

Ran about 6 mags through mine yesterday. No hiccups. Great shooting little pistol. Need to go through a few more boxes of ammo. Good start so far though.

I’ve put about 200 rounds of two different ball loads and two different hollow points through mine and love it. Perfect size for it’s capacity and it’s a great shooter. No issues so far but will probably put a couple hundred more through it before I start carrying everyday.

I just received email notice from Cabelas that mine is in. Need to go pick it up. First time in my life Iíve ever ordered a firearm Iíve never held or tested the trigger pull. We will see!! I guess if it doesnít work out and I absolutely hate it, Iíve still made worse purchase decisions Iím sure.

Yep. It's not as nice as the trigger on my Walther PPQ (best striker fired trigger I've experienced), but it's a close 2nd.

I agree the trigger is not as nice as a PPQ or even my Kahr pistols, but it is close to being as good. To me, the trigger is better than my wife's Glock.
I love the size, and it shoots great. I believe it shoots as accurately as my PPQ and better than either of my Kahrs.
Only hiccups I had were due to two rounds of bad factory ammo that had a light powder charge or no powder at all. (first time I have ever had that happen) they fortunately had enough oomph to at least get the bullet out of the barrel.

Default Sig P365

Picked up my new toy at Cabelas today minus the extended 12rd mag and box of ammo thatís still on backorder.
First impressions are positive. I like the trigger and the pinky plate mag will be the way I carry, unless the 12rd mag wins out. The flat mag just doesnít catch enough of my hand. I also like the sites and the shape of the finger guard...the way it rises up makes the gun have great ergonomics and just fits my hand well.
The thing is SMALL guys!

Oh, it also fits my versacarry pro holster perfect too

I cussed Glock for years wanting them to produce a real single stack carry pistol and then when they came out with the G42 and G43 I had to have the later. Well hereís the P365 stacked up next to the G42....and packing 4 extra rounds to boot!!

Still trying to wrap my head around how SIG did it. This is what all the hoopla is about folks!

Iíll try to throw some rounds down it and give a range report soon!

I went from a G42 or G27 carried most everyday to the P365. I think you'll find that it shoots like the G42, at least for me, and very accurate. Enjoy. I love mine.
