Default Tactical 30-30's....why?

I haven't looked at guns in many years and the change in how they look is amazing. The most amazing of all is the tactical lever gun. Why on earth would you want such a gun? Seems to me there are a lot better options.

Is there a reason?

Best guess is because they look awesome! You’re right, there are much better options.

Tactical lever guns exist for one reason: look how cool it is! 6 months later....yeah, not sure why I bought that.

Some things just donít need improving. Blued steel and walnut is one of them.

Actually the 30-30 has always been an integral part of a lot of tactical divisions in law enforcement. It has great stopping power, itís compact, almost bomb proof, easy to operate and just plain iconic. So it only stands to reason that someone would make one in the ar mod platform so you can add a light, red dot sight, etc etc.

Had mine about 2 years and I love it.Light weight and the 6 way stock adjustment makes it good for me and my grandkids.Plus it goes well with my tactical 12 ga.The hogs hate them both

Can't say i care for them myself, if decked out with plastic stocks, rails, etc. But i would like to put a red dot on one and thread the barrel, big loop and work the trigger. Otherwise I've decided to leave them iron sights for ranch duty and open sight comps

I had to google that one.. HA HA what I saw was a bunch of people that had loading issues , complaining about recoil and not able to hit the broad side of a barn standing inside

Not sure I do not own one I like them , but I have to say the blued steel and oiled walnut is sexy not so much on the tacticool look

I tacticooled my 336. It has ghost ring sights and a leather shell holder. Blue steel and amazing walnut stocks. Also did a straight stock conversion. About as 1800’s tactical as I need

OK, so why not?
There are countless variations of everything.
Personalizing something is what makes it yours.

Criticizing something because you don't care for it doesn't make it wrong ... it makes you a liberal!

Why? Because everybody needs a gun that goes with their stacks, truck nuts, and unnecessarily extended mirrors.

There a fine line between tasteful and gaudy. I donít like a bunch of the ones posted here trying to look I like an AR hybrid but nothing wrong with a long pic rail on top and a big level loop plus a sling.

At least in pistol calibers you can have ďhigh capacityĒ and not have a detachable mag.

Remember not all states are as free as Texas. Itís a way to snub your nose at communist states that donít allow high capacity magazines.

These are some I saw at SHOT show this year.

I like the green one with porting . HE HE Not super tac but reduction in recoil is a plus nice rail for simple install of the many red dots out there .. Still a fan of the original but I could see buying one and poking a few hogs with the . Load some leverevolution ammo and have some fun
