Default Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Anyone have a newer Jeep Grand Cherokee in the family? Wanting to know thoughts and opinions on them. Reliability? My better half thinks she wants one. A Trackhawk to be specific.

I like them but I wouldnít buy one because they are changing the body style late next year and supposed to have some big updates.

I test drove one of the newer trackhawks but wife wanted a Sedan so we went with a Audi S7 but man are they fun. Iíll be in the market again and want to hold out until I see the new Trackhawk or may go BMW X5M or the new Mercedes SUV.

Just traded my wifeís 2016 SRT for a big ole Navigator L. The SRT was awesome.. almost 500 HP with minor mods. But this Navigator has the Raptor engine and moves for a big girl.

Yeah I saw those at the dealership recently... pretty dang sweet. But, heck, I thought WE paid a lot for our Jeep! Lol

In all seriousness, we loved it but it wasnít really practical for us as our family grew. Rough ride due to the sport suspension and loud exhaust isnít ideal for babies and long trips. One thing that really turned us off to buying another Jeep anytime soon was the dang trim was always peeling back. This Texas heat warping the plastic (we had the carbon fiber interior). Looked cool, but poor quality. It was replaced several times by the dealerships, but spent a lot of time messing with it. Shouldnít have to do that for a $75K+ vehicle IMO.

The wife has a 2014 she loves it. The only problem we have had with it is people keep running into her.

We had a 2012 Grand Cherokee and it was in the shop more than on the road. I will not buy another Chrysler product. Might have just been that one, but I've never had the problems with my GMC's or Chevy's that I had with the Cherokee. Good luck

My wife drives a 2019. V6 AWD and it has been great for the 27K miles she has put on it so far.

22-26 MPG is nice too

Same here piece of junk. The only thing nice about it was the sound system.

My wife has a 2019 Grand Cherokee Limited with all the bells and whistles and she likes it so far. She was driving a 2008 Forerunner which she really liked. She wanted a car that had the rear hatch electric close due to back issues which Toyota didn't have, otherwise she would have got another Toyota. I have only driven it a couple of times and it rides nice. Her opinion is it will not ride as nice as her Toyota did when it is 8-10 years old if she keeps it that long. But for now she really likes.

My wife has a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with ~90k on it still drives great. One of the more luxurious vehicles we've owned, nice sound system, nice leather. The electric shifter is a bit strange but you get used to it.

I should add it has survived my wife, who thinks cars have a magic box in the front that makes them go.

as for the track hawk there are better vehicles for 85Gs.

The all wheel drive Trackhawk & Durango equivalent are serious straight-line machines...you can out boogie about anyone with all 4 tires biting in a big ole 5000 suv. Gotta love it.

I have one. Its a riot. Full exhaust and tune and I'm running low 11s. No hardware upgrades. Exhaust was just cause. I also added a new sub and amp to the harmon Karon system and limo tint. 33k mi. Is my daily driver. No issues thus far.
