Default Great idea to educate Kids

So I’ll admit I don’t like everything I see on the book of faces but this was such a great idea I had too share. That being said I’d like to get a head start on buying some of these books for my nephew so I can start reading them and know what’s he is talking about before I pay him.

Heck even Ol’ Unk might learn a thing or two, never late to teach an old dog new tricks !!! I posted the criteria the individual stated and the pic he posted with some of the titles to give an idea of what I’m looking for. Annnnnnd go!

Never Split the difference is good.
Rich Dad is also good, been around for awhile.
Haven't read any of the others, but I would assume they are equally as good based on the 2 above ^^

Any others you’d recommend? Kinda want to keep this thread around like the good books to read thread but as a self help version.

A random walk down wall street is a decent one for them to read as well. I guess that's really more about public valuation rather than just entrepreneurship in general. Cool idea, though I'd still expect chores to get done.

How to win friends and influence people is a must add. Changed my entire prospective about negotiating.

Millionaire next door or Everyday Millionaires are both good reads.

Great idea. Will have to do it with grandchildren.
Have him read " The Prince" By Machiavelli. Written almost 500 years ago. Still very pertinent. Great book on being a leader and staying a leader.

Higgins has an amazing story. Little rough around the edges but amazing mental and physical toughness.

Yes, according to John Mackey, founder of Whole Foods Market. Books, and the love of a good woman, of course.

Here’s my list:
Conscious Leadership by John Mackey. The key to his success, he says, is hiring good people then empowering them to succeed.

Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss. Former hostage negotiator teaches how to apply same techniques to business and other life negotiations.

Steel the Show by Michael Port. Developing public speaking skills from speaking in front of crowds to business presentations to job interviews.

Think For Yourself by Vikram Manasharami. Author uses the tenets of the Cynefin (kuh-NEV-in) Framework to discuss the importance of developing critical thinking skills rather than thinking by doctrine.

The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck. First published back in the 1980s, this book is about dispelling an attitude of entitlement and how to develop mental resilience. The first sentence in this book is, “Life is difficult.” Following that, the remainder of the book explains that, no matter how difficult your life is, you still have to “run the race.” This book is a real good attitude adjustment in the face of the Cancel Culture—#metoo—I’m Okay, You’re Okay social movements.
