Even so, I won't be transmitting it to anybody's grandma if I get the flu. When I get sick, I stay home. I understand the importance of keeping germs to yourself.

Yes. Get mine every year in September. Hospitals are asking for every one to receive the flu vaccine due to the overwhelming ER visits from flu symptoms. They want to minimize visits due to crowded hospitals from Covid.

This is the first year I got one but only bc I got a $5 coupon. It was easy peasy and forgot about 5 minutes later.

Yes.

The only year that I had born the flu was a year that I missed because I was out of town when my employer was giving them.

Did it matter? I donít know but I donít think the vaccines causes influenza. I believe that it helps your body get a head start on its defense.

I have got it once didnt get the flu, i have also not had the flu the other 37 years of my life. My wife gets its almost every year and has got the flu 3 or 4 times. I am not against or for it. I am tired of people saying that i am selfish if i dont wear a mask, or i dont get a flu shot. Plus if everyone is wearing a mask this year, does the mask not protect them against the flu also, or is that just Covid before the election?

I've never had one. I do get the flu every other year or so but for some reason I'm too stubborn to go get the shot.

The only time I ever got the flu is after taking the shot! I taught for 26 years in public schools and they always wanted to give me the flu shot for free! The one time I took the shot, I got the flue a few days later!

I WILL NEVER TAKE A FLU SHOT AGAIN!

You know you build immunity by actually catching the Flu also right?

I'll take the natural path.. At least until something serious comes out 10x worse than the Flu

Heck no. Never had one and never will. I've had the flu once as an adult and I'm 41. I know people that get it every year and still get the flu often.

Even in the best of vaccine years you still have a 40% chance of contracting the flu virus when taking the vaccine.
Jeremy correct me if I am wrong. The way i heard it was the CDC prepares a vaccine for what they think will be the dominant strain in that year. Not designed to cover all strains of flu since there are several, just the one they think will be the most prevelant that year.

Yes I get mine every year.

Nope. Never needed it. Son got both types of flu just before this covid crap, and neither of us got sick. I will say every time I came back from china I seemed to get sick lol. Mostly allergies that get me.

I'll also say I got sick more when I was out of shape. Wouldn't hurt if you're out of shape to keep the immune system moving along.

I have had the flu. Hope you guys don’t get. It put me in the hospital for two days, one of which I was unconscious. Took a couple weeks to get my strength back. What most people get is not the flu but a severely bad virus cold. The bad stuff is what you want to protect yourself against. Yes, I got mine two days ago. Think of it this way, if you get the real flu during hunting season you will be out of commission for about three weeks. Don’t risk it. We all only have so many hunting seasons during our lifetime.

Have had nasal and shot vaccines for decades, mostly because it was required and free. I NEVER had negagtive side effects from either, and didnt get one in2017. Got it from my youngest and was sick for three days, even with tamiflu. No thank you. I just got my shot to ight 😉
