      I have my 30" Z7Xtreme set up with Beman bone collecter arrows, 100 grain slick tricks set on about 66 lbs. shooting about 270ish but whisper quiet. Love it.

                      oh man dont feel bad. i shoot a z7x @ 28" dl x 61# dw and get a screaming 260 fps out of it.

                      your speeds are comparable to my buddy shooting almost the same set-up you are. they don't make the best speed but sure shoot well.

                        Pretty fast single cams. I have read dual cams are faster pound for pound but not as smooth as singles and that each type has its own advantages is this true?

                              The single cams are smoother, and require very little tuning and end up being a great shooting bow. The dual cams are faster, tend to have a little more recoil, and require tuning on a regular basis in my experience. Both are great set ups, it just depends on whether or not you have the time to tune your bow regularly. I personally enjoy knowing that my bow is going to shoot well every time that I take it out of the case, so I choose to give up a little speed for consistency
