South Texas Management 8

My son (6) was a trooper and was able to grind out several hunts where we saw zero deer. A front blew in yesterday and things picked up. We were able to take a nice South Texas management buck this morning. He has 8 points, weighed 230 pounds, and scored around 140 inches. As you can see this guy was healthy, couldn’t believe the fat. Heaviest bucks I’ve ever taken.

Looking forward to hunting the rut come December to try and find a “trophy buck”.

Oh yeah, low fence and gun because people always ask.
