Krivoman Blind vs 90 mph winds or possible Tornado

Have a Good friend and my Personal Biologist for my ranch who lives NW of San Saba. He texted me this photo 2 days ago about his Krivoman Blinds. Said it was over 50 yards away from where it is sitting in Picture. Says a lot of tree damage as well so could have been a small tornado. Any way said he fished it out of the pond and everything is in perfect shape. No broke windows or anything. Said it is back in its place. This is the second time a tornado has deposited one of my blinds into a pond. The other was a tbh member up north texas.

He said he lost 5 windows at his house, And 3 box deer stands had windows all blown out and broken. He said other than swimming in to get it all was good.

      That’s a tough blind
Was it bolted down to a platform or just sitting on ground ?

Could have suffered possible damage had it not been free to blow away. Just my thoughts.

Same happened to my with an older Krivoman shell with homemade windows and a door. Wind or a tornado picked it up out of camp and deposited it in a ravine 100 yards east of camp. Still together and no damage to any of it! Tough son of a gun!

Those thunderstorms in Central Texas can be rough ! Been through a few in Runnels Co. when I used to hunt there. At one time or the other, all of my six original box blinds hit the ground. We started tying the guy wires to bushes and no more trouble. A ten foot tall mesquite will hold anything !
