    Houston Rodeo- UBER

Is there any issue catching an Uber after the Houston rodeo?

We have a parking pass for Friday but want to avoid any chance of drinking and driving home.

    We live in Kingwood.

No their lot for pick up is directly across Kirby from the stadium. There were TONS of them coming in when the rodeo let out Friday night and we were leaving. Uber and Lyft.

It’s no brainer in and out. The cost from IAH is about $100.

The last time I did an Uber after a large event it cost me $75 for three miles. Surge charges can hurt.

They’re not allowed on reliant property. My wife had Uber drop her off at the exhibitor gate entrance Sunday, poor driver got a royal *** chewing for it by the officer.

Say What? They (Uber and Lift) pick up and drop off in the Green lot just over the pedestrian bridge that crosses Kirby from the stadium. Just follow the signs. Huge tent cover to wait in out of the rain/sun.

They are there but it’s a pia
My wife and I used lyft and Uber a few nights, it took forever and it’s very expensive, $125 one night from the stadium to deer park.
If I were u, after the concert head to the north end of the stadium and exit and head to the reliant center and if you walk north along the west end of reliant center there will be a shuttle service to the over flow lots and to the Marriott springhill suites. Hop on the shuttle to springhill suites which is only about 2 blocks and catch and Uber there if that’s what u decide to do.
They can pick you up at a specific location away from traffic and you can catch a free ride on the shuttle

Pretty much what my thoughts are. I take them if I’m going somewhere where I know I’m going to drink.

Cause there is a giant sign that says no drop offs.

Walk to the Crown Plaza, get a drink at the bar, and then order an uber home.

Will this plan avoid the upcharges by uber?
