    Always wanted to build one of these jet-jons. Only thing I see that looks off is I would have mounted the intake grate area flush with the bottom of the boat instead of below it. All that fiberglass will be the first thing to hit the bottom if you do....

                Boys at tinboats said doing that would cause cavitation

                    Most I've seen are built that way for shallow water capability. Some even built into a shallow tunnel almost. Most seem to be running pods on the back as well. That might help with the cavitation issue....
