need food plot advice

I hunt around lake medina. There is nothing but rocks and cedar. The soil is scarce to say the lease. Has anyone in this area had any luck with any type of seed. Do be specific.thanks.

This website might help a little bit. Tecomate does a good job of breaking down the regions. I believe that you can also send in a soil sample and they will tell you what plants well or what to add to the soil composition to make it better. I can't help anymore than that.

Thanks, any help is good i hate to go and throw money at it with out any results. Any guys in the area haaving any luck please give secert up.

If all you have is rock the best advice is to move if you want a food plot. Other wise just give them the corn and protein.
