It’s probably just me but if the deer in the background is the 7 Point you’re talking about them that’s definitely the one because he looks like a fairly wide 8 point to me.

Could very well just be the picture angle or my old eyes but I swear i’m counting 8.

If the game is removing mouths, it doesnt matter. None of us know what the future holds for either deer. So the first one that offers a great shot gets it. I do like the fact that you are actually putting some thought to it though. So many "trophy" hunt their "culls" which is the exact opposite of what they should be doing.
