I can't believe that 4 large bolts are all that is holding that up in the air in those horizontal poles!

I have seen this before but it still seems like a big waste of time and money. I do understand the idea of just working on projects for the sake of doing something but this is a bit to much I think.

Looks like they had the time and the resources... they don't appear to have all that much investing in all that. The poles look used, the only new lumber was the deck... Go big or stay at home....I'd ground check a few from that blind. ;-P
