Riveted vs welded/fish finder with di gps

What’s the pros an cons riveted vs welded aluminum boat also what fish finder that has down image an gps do y’all recommend under 500

Welded boat all the way. I've never owned a riveted boat that did not leak. I would look at a garmin. I have 2 on my ranger boat. For the money they are the easiest to plug in and fish. You can get a great 7 in finder for less than 500.

Definitely welded all the way. As far as a finder with down imaging, I like the hummingbirds.

I've had both and welded is the only way to go.. After I knocked out 23 rivets on lake Palestine during an ice over I learned my lesson...

Found a lowrance hook7 with GPS and down imaging at academy for $199 on sale. It's working well on my kayak m the GPS is a little slow but pretty great so far
