Well it's that time again. Need to change oil in my truck. Just want to know what oil you guys are running in your 6.6 diesels. Mine is a 2016 GMC 3500 with 39,000 miles. With hotter temps coming up and a lot of towing what do you guys recommend. I have been using the Synthetic Amzoil. Is there anything better out there?

What weight Amzoil are you running now? I run Rotella T6 in everything diesel all year and haven't had any issues. From 7.3 Ford to 6.7 Ford to DT466 to a perkapillar in my chipper.Comment

Right now I'm thinking Rotella T6. I have always run Amsoil no problems in the past I was just wondering if there were any major advantages to using something other for hotter temps and hauling. Going to try it and save a little money at the same time.Comment

Don’t get too fixed on the brand. Most of it’s the same stuff (EXACT same stuff).
Anything CJ-4 /CK-4 will work great.Comment
