I actually think all the advertisements for making money from your computer or phone are scams. I was wondering if any of y'all had any experience with companies like this in link below.

http://www.topjobsreviewed.com/?camp...20money%20home

My wife keeps wanting to dive into on of these gimmicks for the heck of it but I tell her to leave them alone...just a bunch of scams. I would like to be proven wrong. If I am proven wrong, I definitely won't be telling my wife I was wrong.

I can't help you on that one.

My brother in law (NJ) is a manufacturer's rep selling process control instrumentation to industrial accounts in the mid Atlantic. His company consists of him and a number of stay at home Moms who do the accounting, inside sales and cold calling/ prospecting from their own homes while raising their families. All have college education and are stay at home Moms. He knows them from his church.

If he does it, it makes sense other manufacturer's reps do something similar. How to connect with manufacturer's reps who might be doing something similar? That's the challenge.

From what I see on Facebook, you can either harass your friend by selling, Thrive, Spark, plexus, oils or makeup it's your choice.

Before my wife went back to work, she found a website that she could work from home. It wasn't full time, she'd do a few jobs a week. Mainly accounting type stuff and paperwork. They would send her resume to abunch of companies and the actual company would call her and give her the details and pay. I thought it was a scam but it was legit. It wasn't a lot of money, and no way you could make a living doing it.

It's multi level marketing, don't call it a pyramid scheme.

My coworker does the Thrive thing. I told him it was a pyramid scheme and disagreed but then described the exact definition of a pyramid scheme when describing Thrive. ANYWAYS...I tried it and it did actually give me more energy through out the day, but as with all those types of things you have to go hunt a Thrive salesman and wait for more to come in the mail so I haven't bought anymore. That stuff would do well if it was available at Walgreens or something.

A gal I work with will buy anything that some "fitness model" advertises on Instagram. Needless to say her teeth aren't any whiter and she hasn't lost any weight even though she's spent hundreds over the last year

From the text it looks like they mention money going directly into your bank account. That would mean you have given them your acct # and other info.

Pretty much my thoughts on it, I also see it as people trying to monetize their friendships. I don't like that

She'd be better off finding something she likes doing, some kind of service or making some sort of product, that she can do in her spare time and can monetize without sinking a lot of money into it.

provide a product or service of your choice that will sell and go for it. I have about 4 things going at any one time lol. One gig I have is test driving cars and trucks for a guy out of state. He buys them online but likes to have somebody test drive them for him. I get $100 per car.

My sister in law came to my wife with a couple baggies of shampoo and conditioner during Easter. Swore that it made her hair better. We could sign up under her and get a kit for around $100. I told her she must be smoking crack and gave my wife the stink-eye. Hopefully I won't have a box of shampoo showing up on my door step!

There are scams out there but there are some great opportunities also.

Last summer I convinced our COO to let me start hiring part time positions that worked from home performing basic QA reviews on property inspections. Started slow and steadily built our team. Attracted a wide variety of qualified and overqualified people from different backgrounds and educational levels. Most have bachelors degrees or are currently taking classes. Have some semi-retirees and stay at home Mom's. We are up to 30 now. This is one of the best things I've done from a business perspective.

We meet face to face and train all new hires in person. We use direct deposit so we do ask for banking info. Nothing is sight unseen. I'd run from any "opportunity" without a solid vetting process! Do your homework.

Don't forget Cabi The clothing line.

I can't stand it when a teacher starts trying to sell some crap. They throw this big party and guilt trip all the other ladies into going to show support. Of course they buy some junk.. It's BS way over priced junk. Well Cabi is decent clothes but high freaking dollar
