Dallas-Kemah road conditions?

My wife and teaching partner are headed to a conference in Kemah this afternoon thru Saturday. How are the road conditions? What I've seen on the news around Houston doesn't look good.

I think by around 1-2pm it will be drastically improved if not all clear. It was still pretty icy this morning.

I'd advise them to stay on 45 until they get to Nasa Rd 1 then head east over to Kemah. Traffic girl said this morning that the Fred Hartman Bridge on 146 is closed and so is all of 225 from Houston over to 146 south of the bridge.

I'm not in that area anymore so someone in the area may have better info.

I had a friend in Houston that told me there was a wreck on almost every over pass and bridge. Be careful if you have to travel
