What water purification system do you bring on elk hunts?

I use a katadyn purifier. I keep a small bottle of iodine tabs incase the filter dies on me.

Sawyer mini Inline to my bladder. Never even think about it. Pm me if you want pics of the setup

a katadyn pump filter and I do not use any kind of chemical tablet

Sawyer inline filter with a platypus dirty water bag. I have a quick connect going into my bladder that i connect my drinking tube to. I remove the drinking tube and hook in the filter and water bag to filter water directly into the bladder. Makes it easy not having to remove the bladder to fill it.

I used sawyer mini's and regular for a while, got in a bind at altitude, needed a pump. Bought a Guardian last year. It would be over kill for one person but it awesome non the less.

How did you get in a bind in altitude with a sawyer other than letting it freeze? Just wondering.
