Man yall got some not so ugly smokers. Glad to see im not alone. Had mine for 3 years now. Almost need a new barrel. Bottom is starting to rust out. But i have definitely got my use out of it!

I may be over thinking this but what is the point of the valves from the bottom as well as lid if you are using charcoal? Air flow? They look cool? Grill when not smoking?

Controlling the temperature of smokers is accomplished by controlling air flow, which limits the combustion rate of the fuel.

Well I finally joined the UDS world

I kept it pretty simple, plan is to see what I like or want to change and then take this one to camp and build a nicer one for home.
