    Arrows

So, lets say one was to get a recurve in the 45-lb range. And, then he has a couple of dozen of CE 250 shafts. Could these be used in the recurve by using a heavier field point/broadhead?

Yep but they maybe only good out to 15yards

If I am not mistaken, the CE 250's are .400 spine. If so, then you could make them work, but they would probably have to be full length, and you would probably have to put 300 or more grains on the front end to make them work off a 45# at your DL bow.

Buy some brass inserts, that way you can increase your nose weight, then buy a heavy point. I'm not quite shooting 300 grains up front, but not far from it. Agree with above, leave them full length and try it out. I would bare shaft a couple if I wanted to know for sure about my arrow flight. Be mindful of your release as any mistake there will be compounded by the bare shaft. It may be shooting fine from your bow, but your release could give you a false flight.
