    Anniversary ideas

It’s our 5th anniversary and usually we do something big but this year just taking a night out in / around Austin. Any ideas? I suggested Perry’s but wife doesn’t want to go downtown.

I'm near ten on the second effort.

Suggest flowers, hand written note or card, and whatever she dreams of.

Make her go downtown at least to 5th street and enjoy Eddie V's.

Tell her to make you a sandwich while you watch MASH re-runs.

Probably wouldn’t need to worry about asking suggestions for our 6 year anniversary haha.

You wanna be agreeable so just tell her youre open to anything she wants to fix.
Remember, it's a .marathon not a sprint. Don't set the bar too high or they come to expect it. Sometimes I think they forget that we married them too. I swear, it's like they did us a favor or something.

For our 10th, I got our wedding party back together for dinner. (Didn’t tell her ahead of time)

We stayed at a hotel...I paid for dinner for everyone....then we had a room to visit in off the bar area. Folks had to buy their own drinks.

                        Wife loved it.
