whats the growth off of this buck???

any thoughts on age would be helpful too. Seen plenty of animals with hernias, which is my best guess, but this just looks different.

This. We have a buck with the same from a fence. He had it for 2 years and is aptly named Tuft 8 for the tuft of hair hanging off his flank. He's now 8 years old.

Dont know if its this but....I have a horse that had a hernia when he was a weanling and it looked a lot like this. Doesn't hurt them but I had the horses surgically removed for aesthetic purposes.

Mr. Buck, Shackelford county deer? Davidamfan, Shackelford county deer? I think you guys are getting pictures of the same buck there.

If so, I may know the deer's mother. She has a growth in the same place and has to be 10 years old and still dropping twins. We call her skin tag.
