    Mexican grits

    Makes 4 servings

First you cook up some venison pan sausage. Set that action aside and get your water going for some grits. 4 servings, and none of that instant bidness. Take some of the crumbles and grease from the sausage and just dump that in your water for a lil mo seasonin. Right as you put the grits in, throw in about 1/4 cup chopped jalapeƱos. Lawdy dats gon be spicy!

While the grits is doing their thing, take you a block of cojita cheese and shred it. Maybe about half a cup. Kill the heat on them grits and stir in however much deer sausage you want along with the cojita cheese.

Serve with Cholula chipotle sauce. Dems good grits right there.

Sounds awesome. I never liked grits till I started making jalapeno cheese grits similar to this recipe. Pour it over some pulled pork topped with an avocado and salsa verde. Pretty fine eating.

Is this a whole meal or what else do you cook with it? Sounds like dinner this weekend at turkey camp!
