    Tundra or F-150?

Getting rid of my diesel truck. Don’t need 3/4 ton enough to justify it.

Looking for a lightly used 16 or 17.

    Pros and cons of each?

I’ve been all over the Internet and now more confused than when I started.

Ecoboost or 5.0 in the ford?

    Thanks

Where to you come up with this. My 16 SR5 gets 16 plus every day of the week.

I have the 5.0 Ford and really like it. I get 14.2 mpg on 35 inch tires. Its a lot better then my Dodge was on 35's. Sorry I have no input on Toyotas.

14.8 on 34" tires with mine. Drive it like I stole it!

Try 80 mph. I run SA to Corpus at least twice a month. My ego doesnt need a leveling kit and oversized tires.

I run 35s on my 5.0 crew cab. I get 17 on long hwy trips and 14-15 in town. I did get 19mpg on a 12 hr drive to Georgia.

Make sure you get a large fuel tank and not the small one unless you don't make long trips.

I do care about fuel mileage, but it’s secondary to longevity and reliability. I would let that be my deciding factor.

Thanks, I know they suck fuel!

15' tundra with 174,000 miles, been a great truck. But I towed a blind out last weekend and got 6.2 mpg.

I have a 2012, when new it did get 13 to 14 mpg, after 30k miles 15 to 16 mpg consistently is no problem. It’s a 2wd crew max with a5.7L. Now if you are pulling anything don’t ask.
