4 Year Granddaughters First Buck

My granddaughter got her first buck Friday evening in Jack county. We arrived a little later than planned and didn't get in the blind till 3:30. The buck showed up at 4:30 and she made a perfect shot at 30 yards and I watched him go down after a short 50 yard dash.

Savage Axis 223 with Timney trigger, customized purple stock, and topped with an ATN X-Sight . Caldwell Lead Sled Solo for a rest.

The scope is an ATN X-Sight. It has a built in wifi so you can see what the scope sees on a smart phone or IPad. Best teaching aid available and you can confirm shot placement before they shoot. It's awesome.

I also have one on a crossbow that she used to kill a blackbuck doe about a month ago (her first ever animal).
