No sir,
Mostly marshes & shallow water. Not planning on crossing big water. Limited by refuge restrictions at times.

Yes that was me. Mine is #14. It's not practical for coastal hunting as the winter tides won't allow you near a shoreline. I can use it for rivers and lakes. Park it under a tree and it vanishes.

Ya we were wondering how it would do on the coast. My buddy has a slip across from pirates cove by the Big house that is built over the canal.

The only reason I took it was to just get it out there. We **** some birds but not as many as we like. I built it three seasons ago but have not had much of a chance to use it. We got hit hard by bith the tax day and Harvey floods. We got flooded so bad this last time we cut the house off of the slab, went up the hill and turned the house into pier and beam. We are 99 inches higher than the old slab. We still aren't home. It's been 5 years since I did any serious duck smashing. Next year I'm getting angry at them.

Man there's some nice rigs in this thread!

Not exactly a "duck boat" but it's the boat that gets me ducks.
Old pic, there's an ETec 135 H.O. hanging on it now.

If you ever do, do yourself a favor and hang an ETec on it. OMG the difference...

I'm still looking to drag a big fat gator up on mine. It's had ducks obviously, deer, Aoudad, tons of fish, didn't kill hog hunting with it but did transport hogs in coolers off the island.

I sure do love the pics of the pure duck hunting rigs though. I think they're gorgeous.

Yeah I was just joking of course. My boat is used primarily to transport me and gear as I prefer to hunt in waders or in a pirogue. Itís what works for me and the limits speak for themselves. To each their own. I get it if your hunting open water bays or shorelines. Iím not much on hunting divers but I shoot some that I select out to kill.

I bought it used, they are not inexpensive boats. If you do get one go big right up front. The good thing is it's a lifetime boat, just slap engines on them every 10 years or so. In two years I'm going to start looking for a larger version of the same rig. I'm 98% on that and 2% on a Shoalwater 23 Cat.

My dads got a 2206 majek m2 with a 200 evinrude g2, Iím looking for a smaller size boat for 1-2 people that easy to tow with a Jeep. Something that can get skinny after reds and put me on ducks as well. Iíve been looking at prodigy boats and then I saw this and now Iím tryna see what would be better. How does your boat ride in a small to medium chop?

Oh yeah, 1-4 people this size is great. My problem is I always have 4-5 people and LOTS of camping gear, 120 lbs of ice, random supplies for fish camp, etc. Boat is a great ride even in huge chop, as long as you have power and know how to run it. I got rid of the Suzuki because it had a computer issue that decided to limit my RPM crossing the bay in a big storm, legit 3-4 footers quartering from the rear and rain at about 1am. Took 3 to 4 large waves over the back before I found a groove riding the waves at barely more than idle speed, thought for sure I was going down. With power and a little boat knowledge there's almost nothing I won't go out in if I really want to. As for the small to medium chop it rides really well due to the extra weight of the deck and safefloor, rather than pound on top of the waves it pushes a lot of water out of the way and plows through enough to smooth it out. If you're ever out in the POC area let me know and we'll go for a ride. They're made in Friendswood: http://boatrightmarine.com/
