Default Team GOF

Not very happy with whoever created this Bownanza 2018 forum.

It will be a minor miracle if any of our team members can find it, but then we are always looking for something. Now if I can just remember the last place I had it.

In and aggravated,

Hogboy

What were we talking about?

Need to come up with a private lunch or dinner this year. Just us without all the children.

My humble opinion.......

I agree, an exclusive club or clique if you will.
No GOF wannabes or posers like Curtintex.
Some of these kids think you can just make a New Years resolution and .......poof...........you're grumpy.

I thought the purpose of the GOF Team was to offend everyone.

I'm waiting for the grumpiest of us GOFs to reply. We all know who that is.

GOF could be for Grinning Old Fart. Cause when I let one slip out the back into my depends, all the folks around me make funny faces. Which makes me grin.

Once I let one slip, I don't feel as grumpy.

Thanks Smart, I knew we could count on you to stick your nose in other people's business.

At least we can get back to business, so listen up GOFs. We need to get the team uniform ordered, so everyone has time to try them on and get altered before the big day.

This needs to be done by the end of the week, so please, everyone PM your vote to the new guy (Curtintex) with which style and color you prefer. He has volunteered to do the ordering and distribution of uniforms for the team, thinking he can expedite his grumpy time in service.

Note Because of the rampant voter fraud last year, you will need to include either a photo copy of your AARP card or your birth certificate along with your vote.

Flashback to Bownanza 2014. I was inspired by our #1 GOF, Burnadell, and approached Mary about starting a team called GOF's. She approved the team and I can see it has since taken hold as a viable team with no real mission except to annoy and offend all the young whippersnappers on TBH.

I like #2 and that's not because I wear Depends. Yet.

Get off my lawn.

Check out page 7 of the spring AARP clothing catalog, and you will find these pockets are an option on the basic overall. See glasses stash.

Note to GOFs

If you want options, ie. aviator glasses, pockets, elastic belts, or embroidered name badges with your uniform choice, you will need to specify this in your order to Curtintex. He will get the Mayor to hold his hand through the ordering process.

And one mid morning. And late afternoon. And sometimes late evening.

Coveralls may not be a good idea if they are unreliable #2s unless they have an emergency exit.

He just needs a little time. Well, maybe a lot of time, before he "matures" into a GOF. But looks like his senile-ism toward us is a good start.

Yeah not crusty enough yet, just a grouchy pup. I didn't realize he just became a grandpa last year.

Give him a couple of years changing soiled diapers. Some experience will help his transition to Depends.
