No no. If you don't agree with others you're just trying to pick a fight without any intelligent comments or dialogue.

You are actually supporting my point. The super wealthy can afford to pay more and they will continue to accumulate wealth.

The sickest part is even more welfare for the poor. Zero taxes for married making under 50K, we might as well take all incentives for these people to bother to get a job (pretty sure this would be the last).
This is not close to socialism, and reducing spending is another way to make it work. And taxing overseas earnings will bring jobs home. Also fixing our trade agreements will have the same effect. One example ( I sell my product to India and I pay 28% to bring it into the country) India sells the USA a product and they pay 0% and this is the problem all around the world. We don't export anything any more. This equals a self made trade deficit.

^^^ this is more accurate than the leading post in this thread. Just because someone proposes/floats the idea of raising taxes on a certain portion of high income earners does not make that person a socialist. What would you do?...would you let those that earn big and pay almost nothing in taxes due to loopholes in the current system continue to evade paying taxes? How do you know the whole plan or are we jumping the gun and stating an opinion just because MSNBC carried this? Trump is a very smart business man who may just have fortitude to fix this broken system. I am about the biggest conservative here but I want to hear him out and see his full agenda before I ever decide on the candidate of my choice. Have a great day!

Definition of Socialism: a way of organizing a society in which major industries are owned and controlled by the government rather than by individual people and companies.

In the article it said nothing about Trump gaining ownership of any company/s to redistribute its wealth.

Now the dem's along with Obummer are socialists if not communists. Think of Obamacare...

The proper economic designation for Obamacare would be a "regulated market", though many would call it an "over-regulated market" . Since it did not seize the means of production of the insurance companies, it cannot be labeled socialism. Single payer health-care, on the other hand, would be socialism.
