What year and is it gas or electric?

I just put an 8 inch lift kit on my 99 club car 48volt

Just remember, the higher you make it the tighter your brake line will get. I had to order a break extension. Fun project and adding more and more to it is easy.

Buy a kit, build one super similar, and then sell the kit you bought.

jakes 6 in spindle lift (250$)(easier to install but more pricey and better quality)
and some 25in atv tires all the way around

I went the fabrication route. Its definately the cheapest, but only if you already have the tools. I only used a welder, cutoff wheel, a torch, and a drill.

I modified the front axel and flipped the spindle pivot shafts (or whatever you call them), and added some blocks in the rear to match the lift i got from the front. It ended up being a 5" lift, and fits 22" tires. Even with the old worn out 36v motor from 1986, it still does great.

Notice how the spindles are now below the front axel, as opposed to on top, like stock. Another plus to doing this was I got better axel ground clearance, as opposed to the lifts that supply front blocks. Just make sure you keep the camber angle as close as possible so the steering will remain self-centering.

It did require adding a new steering stop and relocating the steering linkage tab on the knuckle.

Heres the finished product. I did put some wheel spacers on it to make it look better, but you get the idea.

Sorry, but I dont have any pictures of the rear blocks, but I just basically copied the ones i found online. All in all, I might have had $20 in it, but since I found it all in the scrap bin, or just used parts on the cart, I really didnt spend any money.
