ATV Tires on a Zero Turn?

Anyone tried running ATV tires on the rear of a zero turn? I have some slopes I mow that if they are the slightest bit wet the turf tired spin and leave skid marks in the grass. Of course once the tires spin you no longer have steering. Also considering chains on the turf tires.

I have been thinking of changing the tires on my Hustler to something a little more aggressive.

The upper end spartan mowers come with some aggressive ATV looking tires.

        why not?
Cub Cadet is used to access a place on Victoria barge canal for fishing.
JD is for mowing places to hunt.

A little smaller diameter will give you more torque to the ground.
A good amount of tire sealant helps with thorns.
Dont drive like your seats on fire.
And dont try to do foam filled because they are too heavy and you will start breaking things

A guy I work with put some mud tires on his scag for the same reason. He says it works perfect and he doesnt get stuck anymore.

I am having issues finding a more aggressive tire in size 20x12x10.

Be sure and check the weight rating on the tire, ZTRs tend to be heavy and actually exceed the rating on some ATV rated tires.

Simple Tire - Most economical place I have found (sometimes 50% cheaper than the distributors I order from).
Usually 3-4 days and its at your door.

Thanks for the recommendation. I need new tires for my Scag mower. This looks like a good site with better prices than I've seen elsewhere.

those aggressive tires are really going to tear up your yard when the wheel slides to turn, just take that into consideration

The lawn treads are already doing that.
