Bringing this back up. I couldn’t find anything at Lowes or tractor supply that would fit on my tote. Didn’t try Home Depot. Was it in the plumbing section?

Yeah, just a couple pvc pieces. We have 2 totes on an old trailer linked to 1 hose. Use it to keep clean water out in small pastures when we lock the cows away from the pond

Large Threads

I think the problem I’m having is that I need a fitting that uses large threads like this:

The large threads are odd. Wylie sprayers has the adapters. We just use a 2” quick coupler to attract to it. No need for pvc. Just snap the hose on and off.

those are odd threads. an irrigation supply should have them. I use SIMS Plastics in Odessa for mine. I ended up putting 2" cam-loc fittings on mine because I use a 2 inch transfer pump to move water. a word of advice though, a garden hose takes FOREVER to drain a tote. try using a 1 inch hose.
