This evening I had the buck pictured as well as this deer feeding side by side for half an hour with no dominant displays. Bucks stayed separate from does except for the few yearlings that did a little harassing.

Typically I do, but I didn’t drive 5.5 hours to tag out in 10 min on a management buck. It’s a gamble that hopefully will pay off. Either he comes back out or something larger. Either works fine for me.
