TAKE THE SHOT or NOT? - #14

    Would you take this shot?

The target buck has just stopped to mark this spot, then he will turn the corner exiting stage right.

    Elevation 12 feet - Distance 20 yards.

Don't think I would. I can see a kill zone, but not one that I'm comfortable enough shooting.

That's a doable shot at that distance... He's facing the opposite direction , I would take the shot .

YES!! I love those hard quartering shots though. Slip an arrow right behind the last rib, and lights out...

With a bow at that angle? If you make a good shot you may get a piece of one lung? Probably would pass on that shot.

Plenty of room there for a well placed shot!

In a heartbeat and he piles up without getting out of site. It is a shot I have taken several times.

I think the elevation is key here. At ground, with that view, the vitals are open. Elevated complicates it a bit more. The spine comes more into play. His stance puts it even more in the way too... no?
