Painting a vehicle is crazy expensive.

I was wondering if a wrap would be cheaper?

Depending on the quality of the wrap you’ll spend just as much. And they have a much shorter life.

Alamo Collision in Alvin on hwy-6 does a good job. Gulf Coast Customs can do good work, but I’ve got a few spots that chipped or flakes off (on the side of my truck).

Main Street auto in Pearland. They have done my work for years. Very affordable

You ain't lyin. I got a quote to repaint the area where my door moldings came off on my 2005 F250. Guy told me $2k. I'd never had a vehicle painted before, so I didn't have a frame of reference, but that made me jump back a little.

I'm sure it's not a cheap service to provide though.

Check out youtube how to videos. My buddy did his 72 Chev. I thought it would look like crap but I was pretty impressed.

He made a paint garage out of clear plastic and a EPA type fumes exhaust deal out of some other parts. Bought the paint, taped and painted.

You can see a few "fish eyes" but you have to look pretty hard. Just a thought.
