I've seen some of y'all wear a hat that looks like you just trimmed the bill down.

I was going to do that to one of my camo hats. Beanie is fine for cold weather.

What else do y'all wear so it doesn't get in the way of your string.

I have one of these short brimmed hats. (just found the pic on the internet) I got mine out at Buff's place - it is camo and has his logo on it. There is wire in the brim so you can bend it however you like. I think some of the online trad stores sell versions of them

Wearing it forwards it gets in the way of my anchor point.

I just wore it backwards because I didn't want to have to be messing with my hat when I had deer at 8-10yrds.
