Good luck. I finally got to where I will just back out and call a dog if I think the shot is marginal. We had to use dogs twice last year, one buck we would have recovered easily but he acted funny after the shot, and another buck we wouldn’t have found without dogs. It’s worth the money.

Sure wish more would follow this! Seems 95% of people do everything possible to make it harder for the dog before they will make the call.

Well bad news. Covered a good bit of ground, trails and roads where maybe he had crossed. Nothing. Searched edge line of water and most likely he is in the water somewhere.

Dog did great. Did everything we could.
