Ball hitch pin thieved...twice this year

    Shame on me.

Looks like I need to convert to all lock pins. Ive had this ball setup for 8yrs and no problems until now. Twice this year thieves have taken my rotating ball pin.

Ill spare yall my spanish profanity.

    God bless! But dangit!

Wow! I’ve been wanting to replace mine with locking pins. Do they make them for the stow and go?

Had mine come up missing twice in a three month period. Picked up a lock that will key to my ignition key.

I just had to buy a new hitch and ball because someone helped themselves to mine.

Picked it up at a Lewisville truck accessory place..
Have seen them online as well.
Will pull the name when I get home..
Out getting a haircut and have the wife's car.

Pretty cool. You just put in your ignition key and turn it. That's it..

Why do people steal these?? I’ve never understood it. You can buy a brand new hitch and ball for $30 at tractor supply. What is the black market for these things??

I expect they can sell them for 20 bucks at a flea market.

I hate running into my ball hitch so I keep it in my tool box until I'm hooking up to a bumper pull. Did I mention I hate running into it? Although, I do keep it locked when it is hooked up.

always using mine..and its too **** heavy (load leveler with drop) to be messing with.. plus it helps with parking and people tend to stay a little farther back and brake earlier when they see it.

i keep it locked too but have had to bust the locks and buy new ones twice in past year because i misplace the **** keys..(i dont have other keys on my truck key ring...in fact i dont carry a ring on my truck key.)
lock that uses my truck key would be great.
