Draw hunts, what are y'all putting in for and did you draw?

pretty much the same here...still holding out for hope on 3 applications that have no status change. How many days after the drawing does 2nd draw occur?

Ten days for people to get in their permit fees. I got drawn on a 2nd draw last year.

Skunked out for the first time since 2012 unless I get a 2nd draw on something, which I'm not holding my breath on.

Two years in a row of not drawing a single hunt. Gambling ain't too fun when you never win!

At least it goes to a good cause (I keep telling myself this). I probably spent around $225 this year on draw fees.

Does anyone have any idea how many 'pending 2nd draw' statuses they have for each WMA? I'm pending 2nd draw on 5 WMA's for mule deer and not selected on one WMA for mule deer.

My 11 year old son hasn't drawn a hunt in the four years he's been able to apply. I got drawn for a PL archery hunt at Kerrville Schreiner Park in December.

I'd rather him get drawn than me. We'll try again next year and beyond.

Anyone know when the BTTH will be drawn if not already? Sure wish they would go back to the old regs. Haven’t drawn in quite some time now. Used to draw something every year.

Liked the old system better too, we used to draw at least every other year. When you have folks out there putting in for 88 hunts, kinda kills the odds,

Two kiddos haven't drawn a single thing under the new online system, IMO it sucks!

I hit the hog/predator hunt at Choke canyon. Still "pending" on turkey hunt in Kerr, exotics at Gardner and one other hog hunt at James Daughtery. Wifey has all "pending" on same hunts.

Coming from westerner who hunts in a state where there is no preference points...I’m not a fan of the Texas system. I went 0 for 22 this year. Still have yet to draw anything in Texas.

11 ppts guided oryx = No draw
3 ppts guided waterbuck = No draw
3 ppts gun either sex deer Matador = No Draw
11 ppts gun mule deer Black Gap & Elephant Mtn = No Draw
6 ppts private lands (3 locations) pronghorn = No Draw
22 ppts Rita Blanca NG Pronghorn = No Draw

Coming from a Texan who loves hunting the west, I'm surprised that you even bother with Texas.
